Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How do I enter or approve time?

Caregivers must enter time through Direct My Care or Care Attend. Participants or Deisgnated Representatives must then approve that time for it to be processed by CDSD. See Time training

Before submission: Caregivers can correct time entries in either DirectMyCare or the CareAttend app.

Before approval: Time can only be corrected in DirectMyCare before it is approved by the Participant or Designated Representative.

After approval: Once time is submitted and approved, it must be removed by the caregiver in DirectMyCare and then reentered.

Work Injury Hotline

We value workplace safety. Caregivers injured on the job MUST report their injuries immediately.

We have a toll-free line and email address for you to report work injuries. These are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Steps to follow if you have a workplace-related injury or illness:
Seek Medical Help if Needed

If your injury is serious or life-threatening, call 911 immediately or have someone take you to the nearest emergency room.

To ensure proper support, inform the Operator that you are caring for someone who cannot be left alone.

For Non-Life-Threatening Injuries

If medical treatment is needed but it is not an emergency, seek medical attention after ensuring appropriate care for your client.

Report the Incident

Call the Work Injury Hotline to report all workplace incidents, injuries, or illnesses as soon as possible.

Fraud Prevention

Fraud prevention, education, and reporting are among Consumer Direct Care Network’s most important responsibilities.

It is your responsibility to recognize the signs of fraud. Learn about your rights and responsibilities in preventing and reporting fraud in this fraud prevention video.
